Federation seeks to create a fully welcoming and inclusive Jewish community for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Jews and their spouses, partners, significant others and good friends, working to create more opportunities for LGBT Jews in the Desert, to connect socially with each other.
A vibrant part of our
Desert Community
Jewish Federation is providing outreach, programming and services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Jews. LGBT Jews are a valued and vibrant part of the Desert area’s deeply diverse Jewish community and have much to contribute to its present and future.
Our goal is to offer as many people as possible a meaningful Jewish experience that will keep them engaged and interested and invested in being Jewish in some way.
We have created an LGBT Alliance, and do so as a means of community strengthening, leadership building, and strategic grant making designed to inspire and engage the Desert Area’s LGBT Jewish population.

To be a part of our vibrant and growing Jewish community! Our Desert is a unique enclave in Southern California, where LGBT Jewish inclusion is thriving.
Attend events and socialize with other LGBT Jews. Enjoy fun group outings, educational and cultural programming and hot topic discussions.
Join together with other community organizations to give tzedakah, donate time, and be of service to help make our community better for LGBT, people living with HIV/AIDS, and other worthy charitable projects.
